Project 1 - Sketching & Tonal Values

In this project, i was able to describe and identify the different types of architectural design communication and their roles in conveying architectural ideas,forms, and space.

Besides that, using sketches to illustrate architectural forms and spaces through visualization and expression of space in the form of free-hand drawing.

Through these project, i was able to apply knowledge learnt in class into producing better sketches.

Project 2 - Drawings : Barcelona Pavilion

Through this project, i have learnt how to analyze visual information using 2D & 3D technical drawings which demonstrates the idea of form and space. Besides that, we also learnt to produce architectural designs and ideas through 2D and 3D technical drawings.

Across this project, i have also learnt how to apply the theories learnt during the lectures into practice, such as technical drawing skills in the project. This project has also taught me to be more self- reliant as many information were to be explored ourselves.

The project has given me much more in depth knowledge about architectural drawings and also Barcelona Pavilion through multiple research conducted.
